Celebrate Your Female Friendships! Contribute to #YTB
Female Friendships rule! We announced this weekend that we have a new gift book coming out in September 2015 from Prospect Park Books called You’re The Best: A Celebration of Friendship by the Satellite Sisters. The book is a collection of essays and writings about the importance of female friendships in our lives. We have voices from 15 to 59 contributing at this point, from my sisters to my youngest niece Fiona Dolan. And now, we want to ask you, the Satellite Sisterhood to contribute to You’re the Best: A Celebration of Friendship.
Tell us the name for your posse of Satellite Sisters, the girlfriends you run with, get-together with, watch Scandal with. Lots of groups have informal names and we want to know yours. We’re compiling a list of some of our favorites to add to the book ( last minute!) and we might include yours. So whether it’s The Girls or The Belles of the Ball, The Ghostbusters or, like in my sister Liz’s case, The Rumbledolls, let us know how you refer to your group of Satellite Sisters. We’re on deadline, so comments after March 29th at midnight PST will not be considered.
To be considered for publication in You’re The Best, please leave a comment below with the name of your group. Here is the legal stuff: By leaving a comment here on satellite sisters.com, you are giving Satellite Sisters, Mudbath Productions and Prospect Park Books permission to use your comment in You’re the Best: A Celebration of Friendship. Leaving a comments does not guarantee that your work will be in the book, only that you allow it be in the book. There is no compensation for contributing. Only comments left on the blog will be considered for publication.
Thanks, Satellite Sisterhood! You’re the best. And thank you for making You’re the Best: A Celebration of Friendship the #1 new release in the Friendship category at Amazon.com. To pre-order You’re The Best, please click here.
