Julie , Monica and Lian connect on St. Patrick’s Day to discuss the news of the week:
The new Pope
Justin Timberlake
The End of the Big East
Julie and Lian in a Generational face-off on Sheryl Sandberg: Boomers vs. Xers
SXSW
Monica’s Bundling Bungle
And a bra that does what?

Really needed this laughter, Sisters.
Perhaps between Lian and her Ph.d. friend at JPL – is it Dr. Jen? – you can patent the earthquake detecting bra!
Sending good thoughts your way.
I laughed when Julie talked about buying tote bags. I recently joined a neighborhood quilt/sewing group and needed a project. I found a pattern for a cute quilted tote bag. We have a family reunion at the beach in August. 2 + 2 = 27 tote bags to be made for the girls and 2 4 year old boys! I currently have 13 bubble gum pink bags finished for the youngest generation. I have the fabric cut out for the 8 younger generation. Next is figuring out which pattern to use the 8 ladies of my generation.
I will post pictures in August after the reunion. These are a surprise gift and most of the ‘girls’ are on facebook.
Monica, don’t worry, you are not the only one in America to still have a home phone and answering machine — I do too!! I find the reception to be better than with a cell to cell call.
