On today’s Satellite Sisters, Liz shares her extremely limited knowledge of How To Attend A Hollywood Awards Show with friends who will today be attending a Hollywood awards show. Exfoliation is more important than you think, people.
Plus Julie shares the “signature moves” she has developed as Nana. Those kids are going to have memorable moments whether they like it or not!
Plus, what if the Satellite Sisters were coaching Superbowl teams against one other? Who would your money be on?
Listen here plus please link to our show on your Facebook page. Can you do that for your sisters? Thanks!

This was a delight, Ladies!
Julie, I always associate Ginger Ale with my Mom’s tender loving care at special times. [This from a vegan: Ginger is the natural treatment for nausea.]
Liz, you know we want DETAILS from your friends’ big night.
Downton just finished for the week. Won’t spoil it, but STUNNING. News may take precedence over this next week; but really would like the Sister’s take on this.
Julie,
Loved the comment about returning the kids in the same state you got them.
When I was a kid, we would spend a week or 2 in the summer at our Grandmother’s in a very tiny village in New York. It was great because she worked all day. So, we were ‘alone’ except for all of the extended family and neighbors who kept an eye on us. One day our youngest sister got cut on a chain link fence and required a trip to the hospital for stitches. No one told our parents…they found out when the bill arrived!
Years later, my parents had my 2 oldest nieces for a week while their parents were at a conference in Europe. My father was stopped at a stop light when there was an accident that sent a car directly at them. Luckily, a sign some how kept the car from hitting them. But, the underside of the car was within inches of the window where my niece was sitting. Again, the parents were not notified at the time. This time, no one was hurt so why worry the parents?!

Great show, as always, ladies. Absolutely love the Nana stories, Julie! And Liz, I love how you’re always able to cut right to the chase (like how your whole job is to watch the SAG show, tape it, and be able to point out your friends to them when they return to your home)! We all appreciate the excellent podcasts, and it’s GREAT to hear your laughter. Thanks so much!
I still remember when my grandfather made me breakfast and the toaster caught on fire. I think that was about 1978 and now that I live in their house, everytime I use my toaster I think of it. Poppy carrying a flaming appliance out the back door in his pajamas!
