Lucky 13! That’s right, we are back and embracing 2013 as a new start. Listen here.
Julie, Liz and Monica are on today’s show covering the full range of Satellite Sisters news. Monica reports on her trip to Dallas to visit our father (and Julie) plus they try to solve the mystery of who really screwed up the remote on the upstairs television.
The horror. The horror. Julie has her own theory of why this portrait of Princess Kate went so horribly wrong.
Julie has a Trifecta of Tidbits! And she poses a big existential question: what you would really want on your own custom grocery store aisle?
Liz unveils her Punchlist for 2013 and provides a progress report. It’s getting real. She even bought a helmet.
And we anxiously look forward to tonight’s Golden Globe Awards. With Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as co-hosts, we actually think of it Golden Globes: Satellite Sisters Edition. Yes, we have a few opinions on who should win, but with those two in charge, we have no doubt we’ll be wildly entertained.
More next week! Enjoy this week’s show and be sure to join the Satellite Sisters Facebook Group to let us know what you think.

Happy New Year, Dolans and all Satellite Sisters!
It was such a great surprise to find your new show today. Listening to you is always like being with good friends. I adore you and am hoping for a much better year for the Dolans in 2013. You have really been through it and I continue to send warm thoughts and prayers to you every single day. Thank you for all that you give. You just warmed a very cold Minnesota day.
Beth
P.S.
How is Ferris, Liz?
Julie, Liz, Monica: Beth said it just they way I want to say it – in both of her posts!

It is wonderful to hear all of your voices! I remember when I first started listening to you on Saturday’s in my little kitchen in Minneapolis – I would get goosebumps hearing your theme song, “Welcome to My Life”…my eyes tear up now thinking about that song and all of you! Miss you all on the radio but wonderful to have the podcasts…thank you so much!
Like Susan, I first listened to you on radio Saturday afternoons, except that I was listening in Toronto. Whenever I hear the podcasts now, I think about my mother, who first introduced me to Satellite Sisters. Although she is no longer with us, I am thankful to mom for bringing the Sisters into my life. We have all gone through a lot in recent years, but the important thing is that we have gone through it together in a sense. Thank you for the companionship and for sharing your lives with me.
Laura
Thank you for a great podcast and sharing your life with us. You helped me through many moments caring for my Mom and still do.
