So what if you other sisters had better places to be, like Rio and New Orleans. Julie and I don’t care. We both went to our closets, fired up Skype and put on a show!
On today’s Satellite Sisters:
Way to go, Seal Team Six. Julie has a tribute and Lian has a few ideas for Seal Team Six’s next mission
Does nagging kill a marriage? Apparently so, according toa new study. Julie tries to stop the nagging at her house. Hear what happens.
International News: London Olympics; Dogs at Machu Picchu and Malaria Pill Hysteria
Plus, Julie gives Lian some classic Satellite Sister fashion advice
Listen here for all the fun. We don’t need those stinkin’ sisters.

Lian…have you read “State of Wonder”, by Ann Patchett? Scary stuff about malaria meds. It’s a novel, but it sounded convincing to me.
Julie…have you heard about the new book, “The Orphan Master’s Son”? It’s a novel set in North Korea by an American man who apparently spent some time there and it’s getting rave reviews. I am partial to your reports, but I did just prchase the ebook.
Fun show, Sisters.
I also pUrchased the book.
I just ordered two copies of “The Orphan Master’s Son”…one for me and one for my friend Suzy who went with me to North Korea. Thanks so much for the recommendation. Satellite Sister Carol read the book and recommends it.
Loved the show! Let us know how the anti-malaria side effects work out.
Another great show ladies—thanks!!
Thank you for keeping up with the podcasts! LOVE the shows
After all these years.
hi ladies….
thanks for another great show…you did a super job..love hearing any or all of you.
on the antimalarials..there are many, and its important to have the right one..
I have taken one with no side effects….same experience for my son…many times to 3 rd world countries ..no problems..
however; I have seen a patient die who was not prescribed the correct med many years ago…so glad for the tropical medicine clinics available now with so much more expertise.. your son should be just fine Lian… off to a wonderful adventure…
and smart message on the dogs…I never thought about it when feeding strays in Greece…no warnings were given..cannot imagine why it did not occur to anyone..thank you!
Loved the show
Thanks, Chris! Lian
